Doug Bremner is a physician, professor, researcher, writer and filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. He is a professor of psychiatry and radiology at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, Director of the Emory Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit (ECNRU) and Mental Health Research at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. He is the co-founder and CEO of Laughing Cow Productions and writer/director/producer of the independent feature film Inheritance, Italian Style. He has written numerous books including The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg, You Can’t Just Snap Out of It, Before You Take That Pill: Why the Drug Industry May Be Bad For Your Health, and Does Stress Damage the Brain.
